UAS Ketchikan opened the Metlakatla Educational Support Center in November 2006. The Metlakatla Center is designed to be a one-stop-shop for college-level support services in one central location. Some of these services include:
- Financial Aid information
- College and Career Counseling
- Math and English placement assessments
- Test Proctoring
- Tutoring & Technical support
- Internet & audioconference access
- Computer assistance
- Assistance in accessing distance delivered coursework
