1. If you are receiving financial aid...

...your admission and financial aid must be complete before any funds are applied to your account.

Not sure if you have everything complete? You can check on UAOnline, here's how:

  • Admissions
    • Log into UAOnline
    • Click on Student Services & Account Information
    • Click on Admission
    • Click on application term (ie. Fall Semester 2012)
    • Complete any outstanding requirements.

  • Financial Aid
    • Log into UAOnline
    • Click on Financial Aid
    • Select UAS
    • Click on Eligibility
    • Click on Student Requirements
    • Complete any outstanding requirements.
    • Still have questions? Call the Financial Aid Office at 907-796-6255.

2. How to pay online...

...through UAOnline:

  • Log into UAOnline
  • Click on Student Services & Account Information
  • Click on Student Account
  • Click on Account Detail for Term (Semester)/Pay Term Balance
  • Select Term
  • Click Pay Now - you will be taken to another secure site, follow prompts.

3. How to pay over the phone...

...just call Student Accounts at

  • 907-796-6267 in Juneau
  • 907-228-4530 in Ketchikan
  • 907-747-7739 in Sitka

You will need your student ID number and a credit or debt card.

4. How to pay in person...

...in Juneau

Go to the Student Accounts office, located in the Novatney building on the main campus in Auke Bay. Open Monday through Friday.

...in Ketchikan

Go to the Business office, located in the Ziegler building on campus at the corner of College Ave and 7th Ave.

...in Sitka

Go to the Students Accounts office, located at 1332 Seward Avenue on campus.

5. How to set up a payment plan...

...if you would like to pay your education expenses monthly.

You can use the interest-free monthly payment option offered by our partner, Tuition Management Systems.

The payment plan is available for a small enrollment fee and includes personal account service, automated account information 24 hours a day, and access to your account through their website.

6. What if you can't pay...

...you may be dropped for non-payment or a hold could be placed on your account.

  • If you are dropped for non-payment you will:
    • no longer be enrolled in the class
    • not receive credit for any course work completed; and
    • In order to re-register you will need to demonstrate that you can pay for the tuition and fees prior to being able to re-register.
  • If a hold is placed on your account, you will:
    • be financially responsible for paying the entire amount;
    • not be able to register for future semesters; or
    • receive official transcripts; and
    • you may also be sent to collections or have your PFD garnished.
