Distance Programs & Classes
The University of Alaska Southeast offers a number of distance education courses and programs. Distance courses are designed to meet the needs of busy students without sacrificing personal attention from instructors. Certificates to Masters degrees are possible with UAS Distance.
Distance courses are delivered by audio conference, satellite, online, or in some cases through video conference.
UAS is an active participant in the University of Alaska Learning Consortium (UALC). The UALC links campuses throughout Alaska in cooperative delivery of distance learning opportunities.
While most classes may be delivered nationwide, our curriculum is Alaska focused. Some degrees and certificates are only available to students in Alaska.
