Journal and newspaper articles provide up to date information. The UAS Libraries offer UAS students and faculty access to several databases useful for identifying such articles, many of which also contain the full-text of the articles. Consult either Databases by Subject or Database Title List for guidance about which databases are the best for your search topic, or go directly to Database Quicklinks.

Keep in mind while searching in online databases that if the full-text of an article you want is not provided within a database, a Ketchikan library may own the magazine or journal in which the article appears. If not, the UAS Ketchikan Campus Library will probably be able to obtain the article for you through Interlibrary Loan, a service provided free of charge to UAS students and faculty.
