Mission

The primary mission of the UAS Ketchikan Library is to provide UAS students and faculty, without regard to their geographic location, with a full range of library services and resources. The library supports the instructional programs of the University and strives to meet the information and research needs of the Ketchikan community. The library offers access to high quality resources, services and gateways to information.

Location

The Campus Library is located on the second floor of the Ziegler Building at 2600 Seventh Avenue on the main UAS Ketchikan campus in Ketchikan, Alaska.  There is an elevator from the first floor of the building, and the Library is ADA accessible. 

Hours

The Library's hours during the Fall and Spring semesters are:

Mondays - Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Fridays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., closed on Sundays. 

The Campus Library is open during reduced hours over holiday breaks and from the end of the Spring semester until the end of June and is closed during the month of July, through the end of August.  See the top page of the Campus Library website for current hours or call the Library at 907-228-4567 for details.
