Mach5 Disc BasketSoon you will notice new additions to campus. The REC center is installing several outdoor disk golf baskets around campus, to include the main campus, campus housing and the Recreation Center. The baskets were purchased by Student Government and their installation by the UAS Recreation Center.

View our Google Map for planned locations.

We've always had check-out mobile baskets and discs, as well. The mobile baskets can be played both indoors and out. Visit the REC service desk for more information and rental.

Bike tuning coming to campusComing soon to UAS are Cycle Rescue Stations. Auke Bay and Juneau are terrific places to ride. Realizing that most students don't bring tools with them, we're happy to provide Cycle Rescue Stations. Soon we will be installing two stations on campus that will provides both a work stand, bike pump, and common tools needed for preparing tires, tightening handle bars and seats... you name it.

The Cycle Rescue Stations will be installed at the Recreation Center and under the Mourant Courtyard eve of the Egan Classroom wing. During winter and late fall we also plan to provide indoor bike tuning stands and tools for when working on your bike indoors just seems the better option. While the outdoor maintenance stand are available to everyone, the indoor stations will be for REC Center members only.
