Must obtain a doctor's statement of health.

Must be physically able to demonstrate competencies.

Must be able to read and write fluently in the English Language.

DescriptionRequired for mariners on commercial vessels over 200 Tons sailing outside the boundary line. This course is USCG approved and meets requirements of the International Convention on Standards of Training and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) 95. The four modules of the course are Personal Survival, Fire Fighting, First Aid and Personal Safety and Social Responsibility.
