How Distance Education Works
Distance Delivered Degree Programs
Distance Delivered Degree Programs admission requirements are the same as admission requirements for programs delivered on campus. All courses at UAS are approved by the appropriate academic departments and faculty groups and meet standards of accreditation. This means no distinction is made among the various delivery modes in terms of a course's acceptability for meeting degree program requirements.
The degree programs are offered entirely online using 'dynamic' components including, audio lectures, discussion boards, digital gradebook, Blogs and student profiles. The delivery platform currently used is UAS Online. Moreover, the course work is asynchronous, meaning that it can be done on the student's schedule as long as all work is completed by the assigned date during the semester.
